China approved 36 pesticide ais registrations in February 2014
The Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) has approved the registrations of 36 pesticide active ingredients in February, 2014 (excluding the renewal of registration), covering 12 herbicides, 7 insecticides, 9 fungicides, 3 PGRs, 2 biopesticides, 1 nematicide and 1 miticide.

In terms of registration type, there are 36 formal registrations (5-year validity), 10 of them only for export. Furthermore, Jiangsu Kuaida received the registration approval for Fluometuron ( 97%TC), Jiangsu Changlong received the registration approval for Propachlor (96%TC), both of which were registered formally in China for the first time.
